The LightCell emits uniform color and brightness from its lighting surface and is an incredibly thin and efficient light source. Oree’s innovative technology combines the light from individual LED dies redirecting their radiation through a flat light guide for an efficient and uniform planar emitting pattern.
Since the LightCell emits light only in the required direction, the need to include additional components such as lenses / diffusers / reflectors (and their inherent losses) is minimized resulting in higher efficiency of the total system.
Using the LightCell as a light source, lighting fixtures designers are able to achieve higher Light Output Ratio (LOR) than with traditional light sources and build more efficient lighting systems. |
